Chief Executive Officer
An international hotelier with over three decades of experience, Mohamed Awadalla has worked with some of the leading global hospitality companies including Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International and Rotana Hotels. Awadalla began his career with the well-known Swiss hotel group, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in Luxor, Egypt. Later he joined Hilton International in Luxor and was subsequently tasked with running the travel trade division out of the Area Sales Office in Cairo, with the responsibility of 12 properties.
In 1996, Awadalla relocated to the UAE, and returned to operations, joining the Hilton Corniche Residence team in Abu Dhabi as Rooms Division Manager where later on he was appointed for the role of Director of Business Development for the Al Ain Hilton Hotel. Following his successful tenure with Hilton International, he joined Al Maha Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi, as General Manager in 2004. His reputation for operational excellence then saw him take on the role as opening General Manager for the new five-star Al Manshar Rotana in Kuwait City, where he quickly established brand presence, setting new standards of hospitality within the local market.
In 2007, Awadalla joined the UAE Private Investment Company to develop their Hospitality Division and in 2012 TIME Hotels was established and he took up the role of the CEO. Being one of the co-founder, he responsible for the overall success of the company and a remit to spearhead the future development and drive the commercial success and the effectiveness of TIME Hotels’ strategy as Middle East success story.
Vice President of Finance
Soumitra, is a Chartered Accountant, with 35 + years of experience in hospitality and the food processing industry. He has opened and worked in multiple hotels at multiple locations, as finance head of the business, and has worked with some exceptional talents, across countries.
A commercially focused and seasoned professional, who worked with Indian and Global brands – Oberoi, HJ Heinz, Leela Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt and Movenpick, in India and outside, Soumitra has consistently delivered “financial results” that meet or surpass exceptions, while remaining focused on “best practices”. Soumitra has the ability to think outside the box with a mission to get the best result for the business and to sweat the asset to maximize returns. Therefore, peak revenues and operating profits always partnered unblemished audit and statutory reports.
From the time he began his professional journey he believed in the 4C’s of business – Customer, Compliance, Cost and Cash, in that order! He says, “It has stood me in good stead and has also worked extremely well for the businesses I have had the honor to represent”.
Vice President of Technical Services
|Gaetan Lavoie, began his career with the Novotel Hotels in Canada in 1991 and, over the next nine years oversaw the opening and renovation of properties across North America. In 2002, he took responsibility for the new property Renaissance Hotel in Montreal, overseeing the property’s eventual sale four years later. In 2007, he joined the SNC Lavalin as Facility Manager, overseeing 97 locations, and in 2014 he joined TIME Hotels as Corporate Director of Technical Services.|
Ahmed Al Mulla
Corporate Director of Security & Government Protocol
|A UAE National, Ahmed Al Mulla, who was born and raised in Umm Al Quwain, has been with TIME Hotels since 2012. With over 20 years in the security industry, Al Mulla gained a wealth of international experience working for the Dubai Airport and different Government facilities. As the Groups’ Corporate Director of Security, Al Mulla, is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the overall company process for security strategy. He builds and maintains key relationships with the Government and private sectors to ensure TIME remains aligned with State standards as it expands internationally. He is a key player in supporting TIME’s vision, operations and the protection of its stakeholders, assets and interests.|
Director of Marketing & Communication
Shymaa is a Dynamic, results driven marketing strategist with over 12-years industry experience and demonstrated success in renown brands such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotel Group and now she settled in TIME Hotels. Solid track record to develop the Marketing strategies and running successful results-driven marketing campaigns.
Idealistic, open minded and results driven marketing professional with a record of achievements and demonstrated success, while providing visionary leadership in highly competitive and demanding fields. Excellent organizational and project management skills complemented with effective communication. Possess the understanding and acclimating skills to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Digital Marketing Manager
Shivani, a dynamic and results-driven digital marketing strategist with over 4 years of industry experience, who has been making waves at TIME Hotels. With a proven track record of success, she has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of TIME Hotels. Director of Business Development
Majd Hamamouchi has in-depth knowledge of Hospitality investment and Management.
With his extensive experience for more than 20 years in the hospitality and tourism sector in senior positions (Morocco, Dubai, Hong Kong), Majd is a strong Leader with high level of organization and management skills, Goal oriented and results driven Person.
Majd holds an an MBA in Strategy and Marketing with large network at global level, excellent communication (French, Arabic, English) negotiation and presentation skills with proven track record of implementing and developing hospitality business, Real Estate, hospitality investment & fundraising.
Commercial Director of Revenue & Reservations
Yasser is a team leader, passionate by building team for leadership, responsible for overseeing and implementing the company’s commercial strategies, developing strategies that ultimately increase sales, improve profitability and grow the business, almost 30 years hospitality know-how in Middle East & Africa including 5 new openings, 2 integration projects (re-branding), 3 project manager and 4 task forces, fully responsible for hotel commercial duties, overseeing revenue division, combined with excellent interpersonal skill looking for consistency and commitment. Hands-on day-to-day hotel runner expecting to deliver high level of service in paying attention to details.
Vice President of Innovation & Quality Excellence
11 years of Corporate Office experience and a further 10 years operations management in Front Office, Guest Service, Quality and Revenue roles.
Eddie Ignatius, began his career with Rosewood Hotel & Resorts 1999 later on he joined Hilton International and after four years with Hilton, in 2003 he joined the prestigious pre-opening team of the landmark Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. In 2007, he joined Rotana Hotels and later joined TIME Hotels in 2008, where he spearheaded the development and implementations of the Front Office Operations system used in all TIME Hotels properties. He was also involved and contributed to the Human Resources development which earned him the role of establishing and managing Corporate Learning & Development.
With his multifaceted knowledge about the hotel operations, he is currently holding the role of Vice President of Innovation and Quality Excellence responsible for implementing and monitoring all Corporate Quality Programs, Corporate Social Responsibilities, leading significant company projects/initiatives and company Research & Innovation.
Information Technology Manager
Dynamic, idealistic, open minded and results driven IT professional with over 25 years of record of achievements and demonstrated success, while providing visionary leadership in highly competitive and demanding fields. Solid record in systems automation and adoption, In-Room technology, and integrated internal processes. Waleed Samir, is currently holding the role of Corporate Manager of IT, responsible for setting objectives and strategies for the IT department, selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits, designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience as well as business processes while assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the executive team on the best processes.
Information Technology Manager
Farsan Mohamed is a highly skilled Information Technology professional with 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. With a deep understanding of the unique IT challenges and requirements within the hospitality sector, Farsan has successfully managed and optimized technology operations across multiple locations.
Throughout his career, Farsan has held key leadership roles in renowned hospitality organizations, overseeing the implementation and management of IT systems and infrastructure. His extensive experience spans over various areas, including property management systems, guest-facing technologies, network infrastructure, and data security. Farsan's expertise in hospitality technology has allowed him to effectively align IT initiatives with the specific needs and objectives of the industry. He has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to enhance guest experiences, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

Ahmed Zaki graduated in Egypt with a degree of Faculty of Law in 2008 and started his career working in his home country as a lawyer associate in one of the well-known Lawyer’s Office. As a goal getter, he wanted to expand his horizon, therefore in 2012 he explored the opportunities in Dubai, UAE and until date he is overseeing and managing the Legal Department as a Legal Counsel responsible to make sure that company's business is adhering to law, give legal advice and monitor all applicable legal aspects.

With a strong background in supply chain management and a keen eye for brand and quality, this professional has consistently delivered exceptional results throughout their career and demonstrated success in renown brands such as Marriot & Millenium Hotels. Currently serving as the Group Materials Manager at TIME Hotels and ensuring efficient supply chain operations for the entire group.|
